Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Cancel in two clicks, keep access until the period you paid for ends, and get a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for any reason at all.

1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the European Union you have 14 days from the start of the subscription to withdraw from it without giving a reason and without penalty, under Directive 2011/83/EU. Tell us within that window and we refund the payment in full.

To be clear about the exception the law allows: by starting to use the Pro service during the withdrawal period you ask us to begin supplying digital content immediately, which normally allows a provider to deduct for what was used or to refuse the refund entirely. We do not deduct anything and we do not use that exception. Within the 14 days you get the whole amount back.

2. After the first 14 days

Cancel whenever you like. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for and nothing further is charged. We do not, as a rule, refund a period already under way — but if you paid annually and something has clearly gone wrong at our end, write to us: a pro-rata refund of the unused months is a normal outcome, not a favour.

We always refund in full, whenever it happened, if you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, charged for a plan you did not choose, or if the service was unavailable for a prolonged period during a paid term.

3. Free trial

Pro monthly and Pro yearly start with a 7-day trial: it asks for a payment method but does not charge it while the trial runs. Cancel before the 7 days are up and you are never charged, so there is nothing to refund. If you do nothing, the first payment is taken when the trial ends.

Founding member has no trial and is charged in full on the day you subscribe. What protects you there is section 1: the 14-day right of withdrawal runs from that first payment, and inside those 14 days you get the whole amount back.

4. How to cancel

You cancel it yourself, at any time, with no notice period and no fee. Take the first of these that works for you:

  1. From your account. Sign in at My account and use the Manage subscription and invoices button. It is there from the moment the subscription starts, which is why it comes first: during a free trial nothing has been charged yet, so there is no receipt anywhere to open.
  2. From a receipt. Once you have actually been charged, every receipt Paddle.com Market Ltd emails you carries a link to the same customer portal. Open it and cancel there.
  3. By email. Write to [email protected] from the address you subscribed with and we cancel it for you.

Cancelling is confirmed by email — if no confirmation arrives, assume it did not happen and tell us.

5. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address you subscribed with, saying which payment you mean. You do not have to justify a request made inside the first 14 days. We answer within 2 business days.

6. How the money comes back

Refunds are executed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record, to the original payment method — we cannot send it anywhere else. Paddle typically processes an approved refund within 3 to 5 business days; how quickly it then appears on your statement is up to your bank or card issuer, and commonly takes another 5 to 10 business days. Any VAT charged is refunded with the payment.

7. Chargebacks

Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback costs both sides money and time, and there has never been a case here where an email would not have settled it faster.
