What is MarketStage?

MarketStage reads the stage a market is in — accumulation, advance, distribution or decline — for a fixed universe of indices, sector and industry ETFs, funds and single stocks. It does not pick trades for you. It tells you, on the same rules every day, where each instrument sits in its cycle and how that has changed.

Who is it for?

People who already invest on a medium-term horizon and want one consistent read of the whole board instead of thirty charts. The models are computed over 26 weeks; nothing here is a short-term trading call.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free gives you one end-of-day snapshot, published after the US close. Pro recalculates every 30 minutes through the trading day, and adds the full instrument set, the detail pages, the scores and the alerts. Both use exactly the same model.

Why is the free version only published once a day?

It is a deliberate difference, not a fault. The free snapshot is taken after the US close, around 21:00 Lisbon time, so it reflects a finished session. Freshness is what Pro sells; correctness is what both give you.

Where does the data come from, and is it delayed?

Market prices come from a delayed third-party feed. Official macro and reference-rate series come directly from the relevant public institutions. See Data sources for the full list and what each source class is used for. Nothing on this site is a real-time quote feed.

Can I get the numbers as data instead of a web page?

Yes, through the Data API: the same end-of-day measurements as JSON, over a service token. It carries the derived measurements only — no prices, no volume, no OHLC — and that page documents the endpoints, the error bodies and the quota. Access is part of Pro and credentials are issued by hand, so write to [email protected] to ask for one.

How do I subscribe?

On the pricing page. Pro is €19 a month or €149 a year, with a 7-day trial: Paddle asks for a payment method to start it and charges nothing for 7 days. The first 100 subscribers pay €99 a year for as long as they stay subscribed. Payment is handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who is the merchant of record for every sale.

How do I cancel?

Sign in and use the Manage subscription and invoices button on My account: it opens your Paddle customer portal, where you can cancel in two clicks. Once you have been charged, the receipt email links to the same portal; during a free trial there is no receipt yet, which is why the account page is the one to use. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing is charged after that. If neither opens, write to [email protected] and we will cancel it for you.

How do I ask for a refund?

Write to [email protected] from the address you subscribed with. Within 14 days of your first payment you have an unconditional right of withdrawal under EU law — no reason needed. The full policy, including how quickly the money arrives, is on the refund page.

Where is my invoice?

Paddle issues it. The receipt email links to your customer portal, where every invoice can be downloaded as a PDF, and where you can add or correct a VAT number and a company billing address. If you are a VAT-registered business in the EU outside Portugal, entering your VAT number applies the reverse charge and the invoice is issued without VAT. If neither opens, write to [email protected] and we send you a copy.

[email protected], or call +351 964 340 255. Expect an answer within 2 business days. If an instrument is missing or a number looks impossible, say which one — the status page shows whether the last run was healthy, which usually answers it before you have to write at all.
