Data sources

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Where every number on this site comes from, and what it is used for. Where an official source exists it is preferred; where it fails, the fallback is stated on the page rather than hidden.

How current the data is

Recalculated on every run, on end-of-day data. Past signals are not individually revisited, revised or withdrawn; the current state always replaces the previous one.

The status page reports the health of the last run, including how old the most recent close is and whether any source fell back. When a run is degraded, the dashboard says so on its own face — it does not quietly serve stale numbers as if they were fresh.

Who publishes this

Joviano Miguel Ascenso Faria da Silva — Author and operator of MarketStage; individual, acting on own account. Jurisdiction: Portugal.

Not an investment firm and not supervised by the CMVM. Published as general information under Article 20 of Regulation (EU) 596/2014 and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/958.

Horizon and revisions

26 weeks (medium term). The models are computed on 30-week, 50-day and 30-month moving averages; nothing here is a short-term trading call.

Positions and conflicts of interest

The author holds, and has previously held, positions in some of the instruments covered by this site, and may open or close positions at any time without notice. No holding reaches 0.5% of any issuer's share capital. Signals are produced by an automated model over a fixed universe and are neither selected nor adjusted according to the author's holdings.

No recommendation is shown to the issuer before publication, and none is amended after any such contact.

Licensing

Market data is used under the terms of each source. MarketStage sells access to its own analysis of that data; it does not resell or redistribute the underlying feeds, and it is not a substitute for a market data licence if that is what you need.
